Equality. The word itself has so many meanings (literally two). And yet the word, depending on in what way it’s used, it can be a BIG word. When someone asks you “what does equality mean to you?” A slight sense of panic comes through your mind, and you feel as though you have to really think about what you say because it may offend someone. Not because what you said is offensive but because people can’t just let things go anymore. People can’t just seem to ‘brush things off’ anymore. Mostly because equality is HUGE. And right now, in this day and age, it’s something more commonly spoken about, something with more views than anything else. It’s always been around, whether it’s in Math or the way of life, someone’s always talking about it.
Something that has been around for centuries – something that’s always seemed to be an issue…
